A Rare Weekend

Sometimes, although rare, life will seam in flow. This weekend was one of those rare times. We just hung out as a family, movie watching and uno playing. Marty who I can't remember even playing a card game with us, played too. In fact tonight Marty and I sent the kids to bed and played just the two of us. I wish every weekend was like this.

Oh and did I mention I drove over a baby owl?! I was so upset! I didn't want to hurt such a pretty creature. I turned around and went back and there the little guy was. Just sitting right where he was. I got out of the car and the little owl just sat there like nothing had happend. He let me take a few pictures and then flew away.

Family History:

I've been working on that box of pictures my Great Uncle Marion sent. Here is my Great great Aunt Harriet Belle Nelson.

Below are pictures of my Great great Aunt Lanora Christeen Nelson and her husband Pearl Frederick Pletzer.

And another Great great Aunt Sarah Webb and her husband Albert Walker.

LynnZ's Science Project

So for seventh grade the kids are required to make a 3D cell. LynnZ decided to make a plant cell and mosaic it. I think it turned out pretty cute. It still needs to be labeled and a paper typed up, but it's pretty much finished.

Freezing!

It's been freezing here in our little town. My poor trees can't even finish dropping their leaves!

LynnZ had another basketball game tonight. The game was against Homedale. Weiser won 30-12. It is so fun to see all the girl develop their skills and learn to work as a team.

Snow!

Since Marty's at work and Weiser is the only school in the valley to have school so the kids are there.....I guess it's up to me to shovel the drive way.

Nathan

Today is the first snow fall for the season. Nathan sitting in math class and finished with his work for the day decides to text me. What I think is so great is that out of all he could text or things he could do, he chooses to text me.

Weiser Youth Symphony performs with The Treasure Vally Symphony

Tonight Nathan and the WYS performed at Treasure Vally Community College with the Treasure Vally Symphony. It was such a great opportunity for Nathan and the other youth.

Below are pictures I took of Nathan before the preformance. Since he's a percussionist I don't really get a good picture of him playing.

I also got a picture of Nathan with his cousin Garrett.

After, we went out to eat and I took pictures of Nathan until he noticed. It took 11 shots and Marty giving him hints. Haha.
