Student of the Month

So we didn't find out until much later, but LynnZ was student of the month for March. Again I find myself so proud of my girl.

So proud!

LynnZ was made a member of the Jr. Honor Society last night. In order to qualify you have to have good standing at school, have teacher recommendations, and hold a 3.5 gpa or higher for the 7th grade year.

Wolf

Logan earned his Wolf Badge last night. I'm so proud of him! Part of the ceremony is to drink wild "blood", not sure he likes it much.

Could not resist!

I couldn't help it I had to take this picture,it will probably never happen again! Marty is letting LynnZ practice on his nails. So beautiful! Such a good Daddy.

National Jr. Honor Society!

Okay I just can not be any prouder of this girl if I tried! She made student of the month in April and now we get this letter telling us she is going to be inducted into the National Jr Honor Society. So Proud! Shes such a hard worker!

Last Choir Concert of the year

Last concert of the year was great! They sang a jazzy number that was really fun.

Pinewood Derby 2015

To be honest, I am so glad this race is over. It took up my living room and a lot of spare time! I am glad though to get to be the one to sit back and watch Marty and Logan create and discuss what to do with their car. Logan was even Googling things for Marty to watch about derby cars. But I am not sure who had more fun with this project, Marty or Logan?!
Logan also got to be the announcer for this pack meeting.

Drivers Education

So every school morning for the last few months I have had to drag Nathan to drivers Education before school started. Ugh! But its finally finished and Nathan passed the course, so now he is on adult supervision driving for the next 6 months before he can apply for his licence. I am so proud of him! Now if only I can get use to the idea of my Peakers Ray driving.

Trisera"tops" & Tronta"toes" Day

Every year Pioneer School does a reading week and every year the theme changes. This year had a dinosaur theme and on day one LynnZ helped Logan get ready for school. This picture just cracks me up! I love it! The socks were a gift from his cousin Kylee and he love to wear them.

LynnZ's 1st boy-girl dance.

Oh boy! Watch out! LynnZ got invited to her first boy-girl dance. It was a birthday/ learn proper dance educate party. The girls were so excited! I stopped in a little early so I could take a few / sneak a few pictures. I'm going to cry. Sniff sniff.
Ellie Walker, Bella Strausser, LynnZ, and Chelise Walker.
LynnZ and Kyler Sylvia.
LynnZ and Camron Hagans.

District Choir Festival

I had the opportunity to go and watch LynnZ and her Middle School Choir compete and perform at their festival. It was so amazing to hear this group of youth sing. Wonderful! They were judged and they received a "Superior" which is the highest score you can receive. Just a talented group of youth!

Easter

Almost forgot to share what we did for Easter. We all went to Grandma and Papa Wrights house and had dinner. We had two Easter egg hunts, one for the smaller kids and then, Brendan and Steven hid a few eggs for LynnZ, Nathan, and a family friend Scotland. Steven his one in the tree and you can see that LynnZ is having a hard time getting to it.

Youth Temple Trip

The Youth finally got to go to the Temple. The font had been leaking so it has been closed for repairs off and on. This is such a great group of Youth!

7th grade science fair

LynnZ got a Second place ribbon on her Science Fair project. Her project was on Vegetation and Waterways. She did a great job.

Track Too!

So LynnZ not only was in State Soccer, she also joined the Middle School Track team. This meant track practice from after school until 5:30 and then Soccer practice from 5:45-7 pm each night she didn't have a track meet. It was a crazy and intense! But so rewarding to watch her set goals and achieve them. In track her 7th grade girls team placed Runner up at SRV and she placed 2nd in 100 meter hurtles, 3rd in High jump, and 2nd in her relay team. So proud of this girl!

Logan took Spring Soccer

Okay this kid is a soccer animal!!!!!I love, love watching him play and get into the game. I really hope he sticks it out and plays in High School, it will be so great to be that crazy mom cheering from the side lines....wait I already am the crazy cheering mom. One note, he volunteer for the first time this season to play goalie. He's not bad, but it bores him to death. I have to tell him to stand up every ten seconds.

Phone theif

LynnZ has a habit of stealing my phone to take selphies, So I though I would share my crazy, beautiful daughter and her fun modeling.
This one she calls her "You don't have to try so hard" shot. Shes wearing half makeup half not.
I love this black and white one of her even though it make her look older than I would like. And the next is another " You don't have to try so hard" look.

This one makes her look like my sister Cora.
